Of agents who haven't already left Rightmove, 99% say they're either "considering leaving" (90%) or "leaving at end of their contract" (9%).
For example, we were surprised to see that membership levels of Rightmove and OnTheMarket were almost the same - although this may be because a number of you have already left Rightmove in frustration.
78% of you are currently still members of Rightmove and 21% are ex-members - but these figures don't tell the whole story...
Of those of you who haven't left already, a whopping 90% are considering leaving if the discount isn't extended or the pricing model radically changed. A further 9% have stated they're leaving at the end of their contract. Only 1% are happy with the current 75% discount.
Of the ex-members of Rightmove, just over half (52%) handed in their notice after Rightmove's initial response to Covid-19, while the remainder did so prior to this date.
Nearly three quarters (73%) of those polled said that they would only be happy if Rightmove's prices were in the sub-£500 range (per office, per month).
Just 5% of our database thinks that Rightmove currently represents the best value for money of portals in our industry. Exactly half voted for OnTheMarket, and 37% for Zoopla. 8% said "Other".
We actually believe the time is ripe for a new approach to portals which turns the outdated model on its head, making them either completely free for agents, or even paying them for their valuable data.
