Have you already left or are thinking of leaving Rightmove? Many of our supporters already have! Below is just a small selection of Rightmove leavers, see what they have to say.

"

Andrew Craig

Director, Andrew Craig Ltd

I have cancelled my contracts with both Rightmove and Zoopla to fully support OnTheMarket because we think it's the best value portal by far and because it's agent-backed. We have listed with OnTheMarket since the beginning and we see no reason why it cannot do what Rightmove does. People who are looking for a good agent will find them wherever they advertise. It's the same with properties, those who are looking will find them. So why pay three portals when one will do? I believe Rightmove has abused its position to charge agents ridiculous amounts to use their own data. I was due an increase in April and after that, I would have been paying thousands every month but I want to ensure that money is there to pay my loyal employees so I can keep good people. Zoopla didn't really work for us, so we have decided to cancel their service too. I also think they want to eventually charge as much as Rightmove. All agents must now get behind OnTheMarket because we believe it is the answer to end the big price increases from the portals. We think it now has a great chance to grow even stronger.
"

Stuart Barriskell

Director, SB Property Ltd

A complete lack of empathy from a greedy company who repeatedly abuse their position by substantially ramping up agents fees whenever they feel like it. Individually we have little power against this grotesque money grabbing monster, together we have the strength to make them realise this reckless greed has now come to an end.
"

David Leake

Managing Director, Houses Etc

I believe Rightmove have shown little to no regard for agents, their customers, and exist solely to satisfy shareholders. Through various very difficult markets, they have continued to ramp up their fees to a level that is unfair & frankly obscene.
"

Linda Hayden

Director, Hayden Estates Limited

I’ve used Rightmove for 17 years but am leaving on the 30th April. They no longer offer value for money and I see no reason to remain with a company whom are not interested in assisting agents struggling with cash flow and whose ethics are so far removed from my own. Coronavirus has had a massive impact on our industry and surviving is forefront in my mind. Time to rethink.
"

Robert Smith

Director, Red Rooves Limited

This was sadly the final straw with Rightmove. The cost is astronomical and the return on investment from them is minimal. The leads we got were massively outnumbered by Zoopla and OnTheMarket, and the quality poorer too. Even prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, we were considering leaving. Upon analysis only 11% of our sales were generated from Rightmove leads, compared to 62% from Zoopla, yet we were having to pay Rightmove four times more.
"

Nick Purewal

Owner, The Intelligent Move

We left Rightmove in November 2019 and to be honest it has not really affected our business at all. There are a lot of agents that are unhappy with Rightmove due to their high costs, poor customer service levels and general arrogance. This is your moment to slay the dragon and get behind this movement. If all agents came off in unison, Rightmove will be over with no effect to your business. Think of the cashflow that you will be saving during these uncertain times. Do not let this opportunity pass.
"

John Newhouse

Managing Director, Roseberry Newhouse

We have been a Rightmove customer for over 15 years but in recent years however we have seen an ongoing price hike at a time when quality and volume of leads have significantly dropped. Excluding wages and premises they are by far our biggest committment but the tipping point has clearly been their contempt and lack of care attitude to agents during this unprecendented time. We are still being asked to pay substantial sums when in reality very few leads are coming through. We have now taken the leap and given notice to quit.
"

Simon Bacon

Director, Preferential Properties

We took the decision to leave notice to Rightmove for two mains reasons. Firstly we have noticed that the number and quality of leads we receive from Rightmove is less than that from Zoopla and OnTheMarket. Secondly, as we are unable to let any new properties during the current time, we needed to review our cost base. After the initial offer from Rightmove to defer our fees we felt it was the right business decision to terminate our contract at the end of April.
"

Adam Hackenbroch

Director, Grove Residential

We had advertised on Rightmove for years and liked the interface and the product however the cost was ridiculous. After much consideration and comparison of the volume of leads to Zoopla we came to the conclusion it was not cost effective to stay on Rightmove. After leaving in December 2019 we did not notice any difference in volume of business and wished we had done this earlier.
"

Ben Adshead

Managing Director, Greyfox Sales & Lettings

Rightmove have exhibited morally reprehensible behaviour in a time of crisis, but this was not a departure from their norm. It is time for the industry to collectively take action and remind companies that the customer does always have a choice.
"

Dean Ahmed

Managing Director, Bluestone

Rightmove’s pricing model, general attitude toward its customers, indifference and insincerity in its dealings have diminished our confidence in it as a viable partner. The latest debacle and customer pressure to force it to do the right thing, again was proof it is not fit for purpose.
"

Aidan Shukie

Managing Director, Think Estate Agents

Had enough of their pricing for years. Their position initially (prior to the 75% offer) I found unpalatable and gave notice. I'm in conversations with all of my local Independents, the vast majority of which have also given notice. A £2k per month saving within the current crisis is a MUST.
"

Richard Frost

Director, Kingswood Estate Agents

We decided to leave Rightmove for the one main reason, we were paying too much money compared to the same service from other web portals such as on the Market & Zoopla. When we saw Say No To Rightmove this was exactly what was needed for everyone to come together and say NO.
"

Stuart Thomas

Director, Stuart Thomas Estates

Like many agents I have been appalled at the total arrogance Rightmove has shown towards us as a client of theirs. Their pricing structure is so complex, the subscription rates too high in exchange for the number and quality of leads provided, in particular when you compare Rightmove with some of the other property portals who offer as much, if not more, for a much lesser fee.
"

Chris Woodford

Partner, Woodford & Co

We decided now was the time to strangle the giant. Some agencies will not get through the current crisis, others will, and if they have sense they will withdraw from Rightmove and support On The Market or another portal. Rightmove's market share will diminish rapidly and the agents will then be back in control! Have the balls to do it – it feels good. The three significant agents in my town all gave notice at the same time.
"

John Lay

Owner, Heather and Lay

We were incensed by the original deferred offer from Rightmove. This was the ‘last straw’ following years of exploitative charging and an arrogance, most recently demonstrated by the representative and speaker at this years Guild conference.
"

Lou Fletcher

Owner, Piccolo Property Services

As a very small independent business, the Rightmove subscription was for many years, by far, my biggest outgoing - even when I had no properties listed. (It is now my second biggest outgoing after staff). I tried on several occasions to get a different rate but was told year after year that I was on the best tariff. I have always felt that their pricing structure is incredibly unfair and massively disadvantageous to small agents for whom they could well afford to offer a more attractive pricing structure. This movement finally gave me the push to give notice and I can spend the money elsewhere.
"

Robert Stain

Director, Cosway Estates

Rightmove have always been the market leaders in the property portal field and that gave them strength and power which lead them to non-negotiable terms and forced increases which became unwanted. The sales reps were machines that just had their orders from above to increase packages and make more money! This led to animosity and dare I say it, hatred for a company that had no care or feelings for our business which without all of us, would have no business model. At the start of the Covid-19 crisis we had terrible offers from Rightmove and we do not want to support their growth and profits so have decided to LEAVE.
"

Simon Fisher

Director, Absolute Sales & Lettings

We feel that Rightmove have been taking advantage of their position in the market for far too long with inflation busting annual increases, a massively unequal charging structure for corporate offices compared to independents, a lack of actual improvements and virtually no customer service. This is the jolt we needed to take the brave step of giving notice and now we have, we have no intention of returning to them. A 75% profit margin is totally ridiculous when it is all based on our data and if we all chose to remove it they would have no business to speak of.
"

Phil Gibbs

Managing Director, P R Gibbs & Co

Our Rightmove package was totally inflexible at an extortionate cost per property. The fixed terms being for a listing for 12 months per property, however, substitution with a another property should the listed property be sold and delisted within that 12 month period was not permitted! Further, in consideration of us agreeing the terms with Rightmove we were promised that we could list the occasional other property not classed as commercial, e.g., a residential investment property. This promise was, after contract, immediately reneged on, and denied as ever been offered!
"

Julie Mitchell

Director, Solo Property Management

We feel there is no history with any relationship manager like other portals as they keep changing. They are not listening to the industry and its needs, it's time they gave back to the agents who put them there. The fees they have been charging have been crippling our agency, for some years now, but sadly they have always had the comfort of being the leading portal with so many buyers and sellers. However, I feel the tide is changing and I would urge all agents to make them listen by supporting this campaign. It will be the only chance we get so make something positive happen during these challenging strange times, seize the moment and leave!
"

Marc Cooke

Managing Director, Cooke Estates

I have never come across such poor customer relations. Our account manager had no say and couldn't do anything. We asked for a little break or a slight reduction to help us and they came back to us and actually tried to increase our monthly payments. It took our account manager 3 to 4 weeks of chasing up before he even got back to us, by this time they'd taken more payments. We then had to serve a month's notice but had to wait until the start of the month, so this ended up being another seven weeks we paid. Totally disgusting treatment after 15 years.
"

Ryan Baker

Director, Zed Lettings

Price increase not justified in today’s environment. Also bad attitude of the company. Big headed. They always come back with... we are worth the price increase. Wasn't worth keeping them.
"

Shaun Rowley

Owner, Academy Estate Agents

Rightmove overcharge and profitier on the back of the small independent agents, it is not a level playing field allowing the large corporates to pay 75% less than what we are charged. Rightmove will put us out of business if they continue.
"

Andy Hutt

Manager, Lettings Express

Strangle hold on the continuous price increases over the years which has had no compassion to the current business economic climate over the years, plus they are my biggest wage earner above any member of staff.
"

Darren Maller

Director, Smiths of Newent

I don't support the request of Rightmove to give us a payment holiday, we are not getting leads from them therefore why charge at all. We need to see a long term commitment from them and other portals to sensible long term pricing. No sale-no fee or pay-per-click, they do not get the results they have led us to believe they do.
"

Nick Sheridan

Director, Sheridans

Let’s all leave Rightmove and join OnTheMarket, it is after all the only agent owned portal. We will then have our destiny in our own hands. To use the awful analogy it is a 'no brainer!' All of those agents who are able to survive these extraordinary times will come out stronger and we must use this opportunity to come together as a profession and show organisations like Rightmove they cannot just trample over agents.
"

Michael Gill

Manager, Charles Barnard Estate Agents

Rightmove have lost sight of who they represent. Agents are the clients and not the public. They have been on a slippery slope for some time and in my honest opinion the service has not improved at the same pace as their charges have. It really is time to #sayNOtorightmove.

We've had over 1,750 agents already sign up, join us in saying no to Rightmove.

A selection of other general feedback we've had so far:

The least I'm looking for is a three month holiday.

-

If we treated our customers the same way we would not have any!

-

Gave notice today.

-

Happy to support this campaign.

-

We owe them nothing, we are their customers yet they treat us like dirt.

-

Thanks for doing this, really fed up with their attitude, Rightmove are morally repugnant and this current situation just demonstrates that even more than usual. You have my full support.

-

We support this motion.

-

Had enough. This is long overdue.

-

Is this Rightmove’s Gerald Ratner moment? Look after the businesses that have made you or they will ruin you just as quickly.

-

If Rightmove are not willing to help in the way Robert Sargent has suggested, I have no choice but to terminate our contracts and instead concentrate on saving my business, saving my staff and saving a FORTUNE each month.

-

We are 100% behind you. We have grown to a list of over 200 agents and getting bigger all of the same mind set. Some have already cancelled. Together we are stronger!

-

They have bullied us all for too long.

-

Full support from here - I would happily serve notice now but I am locked into a recent contract and the penalty is too high to ignore.

-

We certainly support your campaign, which is the same as we had asked for in a personal letter to Miles Shipside. We did not even have an acknowledgement and their high handed attitude and bullying tactics have so appalled us that we are resolved to withdraw and concentrate on On The Market. We are encouraging other independent agents in the Cardiff area to do the same.

-

I feel that rightmove have been (to put it politely) taking the mick with annual increases etc. I wholeheartedly agree that a payment holiday be offered by Rightmove. I am seriously considering my contract with them. Many thanks and heres hoping for a fair outcome.

-

100% agree we need to get together.

-

We have handed in our 30 days notice this morning.

-

Their costs are already extortionate and their lack of empathy in our current market just baffles me!

-

Finally we have a voice!
-

I back your call to action in this unprecedented time, now is the time to stick together as an industry.

-

I support this campaign.

-

Really well done for leading this. Fully supporting the campaign.

-

It is difficult enough to provide the high standards of service our customers expect during this unprecedented event without the added stress of trying to find the exorbitant charges we are facing on a monthly basis.

-

Definitely ditch Rightmove at the first opportunity. This mornings gesture is not enough, they have already demonstrated their disdain towards us and we know their true colours.

-

As an independent estate agent with no corporate backing, and a very tricky market, Rightmove's high monthly costs is a crippling expense especially as it only survives on the back of what we feed it.

-

Wholeheartedly support this initiative.

-

Rightmove are as big and successful as they are due to estate agents using them, if there are no estate agents how will they survive?!

-

I served notice yesterday to remove my whole listing. Had a call within 90 minutes asking why and they even had the audacity to say we have a business to run too!  At 75% profit margins I do think you can do something but lets all hope we can bring this monster down.

-

I have cancelled my sub as they were not helping in these clearly hard times.

-

With you guys all the way.

-

Don’t let the 75% offer slow us or stop us! They’re on the ropes but will fight back if we tire.

-

We've ended our subscription with Rightmove and hope that every subscriber sees sense and does the same.

-

Give us a break and stop profiteering. If not you will not have any agents to help you make your obscene profits.

-

About time we stood up to the relentless blackmailing attitude. Covid-19 aside, Rightmove need controlling.

-

Enough is enough! Only by working together can we make a difference. Rightmove need to be reminded that we are actually their customers!!

-

We all need to stand together in this! If Rightmove do offer you a deal now you will pay for it later, stick by your guns and once and for all end the fee paying madness that is Rightmove.

-

75% off isn’t enough – it should be free for 6 months. We are going to have to eat into cash reserves so should rightmove.

-

I own a two branch agency. My priority in the next 6 months will be survival and keeping staff paid. I am fed up of Rightmove’s inflation busting increases year on year, the way they push services I don’t want or need as a way to justify this and their attitude.

-

I have just given Rightmove notice.

-

Rightmove have been an utter disgrace for so many years. Everytime our Account Manager contacts us, we know it is to get a price hike.

-

Thank you for challenging against Rightmove for the benefit of my fellow agents.

-

Rightmove’s derisory, short-sighted and valueless offer, adds to my bewilderment that estates agents have been excluded from the Chancellor’s business rate holiday.

-

I say it’s time Rightmove did the right thing and listen to its customers here and now not in weeks!

-
Rightmove - do the Right Thing. Give us all a break.

-

Us agents need proper help at this difficult time.

-

We agree with this campaign.

-

I'm in full support of this. Very worrying times for agents.

-

At last somebody prepared to do something constructive (and a balanced approach).

-

We should all just take a payment holiday together and see what they do?

-

Well done you. Isn’t this the opportunity to act with solidarity and support an agents’ network (On the Market)?

-

I fully support this now and in the longer term a campaign to get them to reduce there monolyptic pricing.

-

I have to say this is disappointing and I don’t feel Rightmove understand the true impact of what this virus could do to our business and our economy.

-

We need to leave on mass on a given date once you have enough traction/agents committed.

-

Well done, fully supportive!

-

I have been with Rightmove for over 15 years, never missed a payment, and seen my fees increase.

-

Well done Rob.

-

Frustrated at Rightmove. If we was to act like they to with out clientele, we would have no business. Enough is enough!

-

Rightmove’s derisory offer was the last straw. We have given notice to them. 3 branch network.

-

I support your campaign. Rightmove’s behaviour is appalling.

-

Rightmove derisory offer is an insult and shows a complete lack of respect or care for its cash cow customers.

-

At a time when everyone is doing their bit, the greedy and disrespectful actions of Rightmove are a disgrace. Whilst everyone is just trying to get through, the very least they could do is make an honest and genuine effort to support their loyal customers.

-

When as business owners we facing drastic times we expect support. Every year on year we absorb increase in fees enough is enough.

-

Would love nothing more than to ditch Rightmove completely. Cannot afford their exorbitant fees through this period.

-

We all know Rightmove have a great product but over the years their bombastic approach to their pricing policy makes us feel they are a necessary evil rather than a helpful partner.

-

Rightmove - the business who increased fees in 2008, the year of the property crash! Says it all really!!

-

We have had enough. Served notice to leave on Wednesday 18th March after seeing their derisory offer.

-

I wholeheartedly agree with this movement. Rightmove have taken advantage of their monopoly for too long and at this crucial time in our history they make the most derisory offer imaginable!

-

They have shown their true selfish colours and there will be a huge backlash now. I believe irréparable damage has now been done.

-

We are giving notice today to quit.

-

75% reduction, why not 100%, cos 75 % matches their profit margin proving their product is vastly overpriced and unjust.

-

Our fees increased by 25% this year (2020) - inflation is around 2% and we are seriously considering "jumping ship" from R/M for good. Can you imagine if all estate agents increased their fees to vendors by 25% !! We'd all go bust and rightly so!

-

Forget 75% it should be nothing for 4 months.

-

Although rightmove have changed their support today it is only because we made them. Their culture is not conducive with a healthy partnership with their clients. All good partnerships are based on trust. Trust has to be earned and rightmove has not earned it. With no trust how do we know they won’t ramp up the fees in 2021 to recoup the monies from 2020. For them to retain our business they need to make a longer commitment from month 5 - 12 to reduce fees by 50% and then months 13-24 no price increases.

-

We must use this moment to give them a choice to win back our trust.

-

We are in full support and thank you for your efforts during this time. This is going to be very testing times for us all but together we are stronger.

-

Just hearing a package is coming through really disappointing they needed this group to check them, the first deferred deal was a disgrace...the industry must remember what they tried to pull here ...we deserve better.....They are just a portal our fees long term need looking at.

-

On top of everything RM last claimed our fee increased (by 23%) as they have provided us more applicants in the last year. Funnily enough applicant numbers grew proportionally to the higher number of properties we advertised.

-

We tried to downgrade our membership to lower the expense for the business, and we were told that we had to give a full calendar month notice to do so. Even then, the prices are still through the roof!

-

We already had approached Rightmove to state our views on their derisory offer! Our view was a complete payment holiday for 6 months, otherwise we would reconsider our position which would be to cancel or downgrade our package. Rob Sargent has acted on what everyone is thinking! Rightmove have now offered a 75% discount for the next 4 months which is more like it, but will it go far enough in the long term?!

-

Without our date there is no Rightmove.

-

Have had no contact from Rightmove whatsoever. Dreadful service from an uncaring company only interested in their own profits.

-

Wish to stop their monopoly and bring them in line with other platforms.

-

I am a franchise and after 5 years of trading finally had a good year last year but now Covid19 will put a stop to that and Rightmove's attitude to their costs will probably see the end of me.

-

Rightmove has done well for us agents and us for Rightmove. In this time of need, where our sector faces a collapse - they need to show they care and give a 3 months break. Rightmove has always had a reputation as a necessary evil - amongst agents - this is their opportunity to change the image likewise Zoopla should take the lead as well and support the industry which makes them both a fortune.

-

Good luck, without our data there is no Rightmove!!!!!!

-

Their moral compass is completely broken. The disdain, contempt and arrogance with which they treat the hand which feeds them beggars belief. End this abusive monopoly.

-

In my view the most important thing, after a payment holiday, is a permanent reduction in costs with inflation only price increases. We can lose all the unnecessary add ons, which are sold through fear, nothing else. A full re-hash is needed or we are leaving.

-

I have spoken to Rightmove and they wouldn’t even consider changing their offer to something more palatable at this difficult time. For me it was the final straw and I cancelled my subscription.

-

We wholly support this campaign. Our ability to continue trading after this crisis has passed is dependent on the support and understanding of our suppliers.

-

Full support from us, now is time for change.

-

Unbelievably arrogant and selfish decision.

-

Rightmove as just shocking. The worst business I have ever dealt with throughout my entire career.

-

As a small business there is no way that I can add extra costs over a 6 or 3 month period for the deferred rightmove payments once all this is over. I am seriously worried as is everyone about the future of my business at the moment and paying staff costs. If people stop paying rents then like many I have no income. Rightmove is my largest cost alongside wages and keeping staff employed is my priority right now.

-

Without doubt agents, like ourselves, will have been questioning the true value and worth of Rightmove to their businesses for some time. This further contemptuous treatment by a highly profitable entity that is, when all is said and done, simply a supplier will be the final straw for many.

-

I gave notice yesterday.

-

The time for change is long overdue. As an industry we need to stand up and be heard in these difficult times, support each other and the local communities that we work within. These are unprecedented times and call for unprecedented measures. Professionalism before profit.

-

We are appalled by Rightmove's behaviour over recent years. The AMs act arrogantly and have no idea who their client is. We will not be waiting very long for Rightmove to respond as from past history, they won't. We will simply cease and withdraw. However I don't think they would care a hoot. Good luck Rightmove but once we realise we can swim without the armbands, we wont return anytime ever.

-

I’m appalled at Rightmove’s lack of compassion to the hand that feeds them.

-

I was so disappointed with their offerI have already given notice to quit and come off on May 1st.

-

I will be giving Rightmove notice.

-

Now is the time!!

-

Rightmove have offered very little reduction. I handed in notice yesterday and switched to on the market. Think we all need to make a stand!

-

Now is the time! I’ve paid Rightmove a lot of money over the years for what I can only describe as a poor service, if it wasn’t for their presence in the vendor & landlords eyes we would have gone years ago! Their leads are poor and their systems are dated compared to others. Their new seminars they run are an insult to agents!

-

I would rather campaign to get all agents to leave Rightmove as they have blatantly shown that they do not care about their customers either now or in the past and profiteer from their currently dominant place in the market.

-

I fully support this campaign and will share with over 3,000 agents in a Facebook group.

-

Hi, Rightmove has forgotten how to treat its customers and they are all about greed. I have been astounded at what some companies are paying them, it’s astronomical.

-

If the government can throw all they have at this crisis then so can a portal. You will become irrelevant sooner than you think. This pandemic will change the world and force companies to streamline .... even the queen has told us to work together ..... or of course except Rightmove! How does it feel to be the most hated company in industry.... you might... just might have time to change this Scrooge.

-

After 13 years of membership we have had enough of the extreme poor lack of customer support and bullying tactics.  We do not see this product anymore as a service for our business. The offer was a disgrace.

-

They have continuously worked against us as agents rather than with us and this is the final straw - their offer was laughable at best! Get real rightmove you are a disgrace and an insult to our intelligence!

-

Already given notice 2 days ago. Happy to support this group.

-

Rightmove can not be allowed to profiteer from a national health and economic crisis.

-

I already gave notice yesterday, March 18th; looking forward to a new era of agency.

-

We gave notice to quit Rightmove yesterday.

-

We gave notice today as we had no other option.  We feel that it's time to campaign against Rightmove and the stance that they are taking against the unhelpful support during these difficult times.  Stay stronge, stay safe.

-

Rightmove or wrong move... the next move is yours so think long and hard about where your wages come from before you make it.

-

I agree wholeheartedly with everything in this missive. If ever there was a time for ALL components of our business/industry to work together it is now! I include agents and all suppliers of services large and small in this. In particular though Rightmove and if they are looking at this..... yes, the time to act is now!

-

Already cancelled with Rightmove.

-

Bailed out in April 2019. Little impact on my business.

-

Good luck we are with you on this.

-

Thanks for being our voice Rob.

-

Rightmove's offer of deferred payments is typical of their arrogance shown to all estate agents. Annual rises in fees without any justification. COVID-19 and their subsequent announcement could be the start of Rightmove's downfall.

-

Happy to support this. I have just given notice to rightmove, this following on from their differed payment from yesterday, I am mindful of their 75% reduction offer today, I also received a call from rightmove for the very first time since joining begging me to re consider. But I will hold firm.

-

Well done for standing up, you have the perfect platform. When we communicated about OTM it was clear that we want to end the stranglehold of Rightmove.

-

A free period to help us through a harder trading period.

-

We need long term affordability. Marketing needs be made more affordable so that we can actually take something home. The bottom line figure is suffering year after year because of price increases.

-

Absolutely despise their arrogance and indifference.

-

High fees is not justifiable in the present economic climate. The leads are declining. Do we have to be on this portal? We can achieve results by collective campaign.

-

Can we please all agree to leave this portal!!

-

Time is coming for Rightmove. OnTheMarket now provides better quality leads.

-

Been furious with their 15% hikes for pretend improvements with the site, buyers will go where the properties are, we went gold with OTM, but not enough others did, so we missed our big chance, this is the moment again, but all these platforms are only as good as we allow them to be with our instructions, we need to call the tune from this point on, and we have to reduce Rightmove back to Zoopla levels, with no long term, restrictive contracts either.

-

I and a few other agents are considering suspending our accounts for the duration of this unprecedented crisis, I welcome the moves by Zoopla & OTM.

-

We are ceasing our subscription. At a time of need, we needed some real assistance, and all their help seems short sighted an misjudged.

-

Happy to support this campaign and ask Rightmove to reduce their costs.

-

Thank you for setting this website up. I feel it’s now or never. We all need to be bold and do it now or forever stop moaning about them.

-

We have eleven branches and have had too many years of Rightmove taking advantage of their assumed monopoly. We nearly came off in January but at the last minute decided to just reduce down our membership. Our industry will NEVER get a better opportunity than this. This is not David and Goliath, in this instance there are thousand of David's and just one Goliath.

-

You have my support. The start of a revolution perhaps! Will Rightmove offer a year free if agents leave Zoopla. I think these websites have finally realised who pays their wages.

-

Happy to support a say no to Rightmove.

-

We are a small independent agents, that of who place 1/2 props per month but pay the same as a larger rival with 20 + we simply asked for some assistance, but was told if we cancelled and then re-subscribed the fee would increase!!! After 8 years of not missing a payment that is how this money hungry company act, the demise of this site is only a good thing for the property sector.

-

My business already finds Rightmove charges crippling and the annual increase in fees completely unjustified - to give us a fee holiday would keep my business viable in the short term and ultimately keep Rightmove viable in the long term.

-

I made the decision to cancel yesterday and received a begging call from them with the 75% discount offer this morning. I hope everyone will stick to their guns and use Zoopla instead, they have been increasing rates for years with no justification.

-

We need a movement that can generate a new way of thinking and, working for estate agents. I fully support this campaign, Rightmove have lost any credibility they had with their disdainful actions toward our community.

-

Again typical greed from Rightmove. Squeezing us for every last penny in unprecedented times. I wonder how they will react to Zoopla and their free for 9 months deal? It will be interesting seeing their share price in 6 months time! Good luck to everyone we all need to talk together about how we are going to get through this.

-

Will be looking t0 give notice if they fail to support.

-

Have given notice and receiving their “deferred email” which reflects on the total greed culture they operate. Only now when they realise they have so many angry customers do they send a grovelling letter.

-

Please can we now do what agents mutual was set up for and all move there collectively to stop Rightmove's arrogance and halt the monopoly it has. At least can we all agree collectively to reduce to the basic period with no additional services. in their statement this morning they have said they can still make money even at a 75% drop which just shows how much they are creaming off our hard work in a market of falling fees and internet agents attacking us.

-

Founded by agents. Blinded by profit.

-

Left them a few months back. Haven’t seen much of a difference with Zoopla and OTM.

-

Rigtmove has over exerted its market dominance for a number of years and although it is a good product has perhaps now gone beyond a point that its long suffering clients are prepared to accept. There are alternative options out there and we need to stop suing Rightmove as a default marketing tool and take back ownership of our own processes.

-

Time to finish them off for good. Do NOT be conservative in your objectives.

-

Damage already been done with initial offering. Not a lot of good will come from this situation but maybe Rightmove's monopoly position will come to end?

-

What this Coronavirus event is demonstrating across society is who is out for themselves and who are the organisations and individuals that we can rely on and trust. Whoever wrote that email will go down in folklore just like Ratner but it represented Rightmove. Just like you knew Ratner sold old tat, Rightmove do not understand the concept of a community. Perhaps the 75% discount will work but their spots will not change.

-

Long overdue time return the treatment they have given us.

-

The fees have become completely unmanageable.

-

It's good to know so many fellow professionals are now coming together to combat Rightmove.

-

Thank you very much for taking my thoughts forward collectively. Very impressed by the speed of the resultant U turn.....but 3 months is not enough! I'm ready to hand my notice in, Zoopla's offer today is looking attractive!
